Ten businesses have been selected as finalists in the 2015 John Pappajohn Iowa Business Plan Competition, the Corridor Business Journal reported. In the first round, businesses submitted brief information about their business plans. Based on those entries, judges chose 25 entrepreneurs to submit full business plans. Those 25 business plans were narrowed down to the final 10. The 10 finalists are: ClinicNote LLC, Fanstreamm, HowFactory, Immortagen LLC, Inland Sea, Innovas Technologies LLC, Sisters Home Style Entrees, UpCraft Club, Viewpoint Molecular Targeting LLC and Western Wise. The finalists will each interview with a panel of judges on Sept. 11. Three top finalists will be selected for recognition at an awards ceremony on Sept. 24 at Drake University. A total of $50,000 will be awarded to the top three submitted business plans, including $25,000 for first prize, $15,000 for second and $10,000 for third.
