Three Iowa organizations receive Navigator grants
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will give $603,895 in Navigator grants to three Iowa organizations to finance local in-person assistance to help consumers navigate, shop and enroll in federal health insurance marketplace coverage options. The awards are part of $63 million in Navigator grants made for the second year of a three-year program to states using the federally facilitated marketplace. Planned Parenthood of the Heartland received $304,373; Visiting Nurse Services of Iowa received $180,891; and Genesis Health System received $118,631.
