Traveling World War I exhibit to visit Friday
A traveling World War I exhibition coordinated by Waddell & Reed Inc. will make a stop in Des Moines on Friday in front of the Iowa State Capitol from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The 75-city tour by the traveling museum is a partnership between the financial planning firm and the National World War I Museum in Kansas City, Mo.
Though the exhibit is free, visitors are encouraged to make donations, which for the Des Moines stop will be equally divided between the State Historical Museum and the World War I Museum. For more information about the national tour, click here.
