Trinity Structural Towers workers hold contract vote today
A year after voting to join Local 347 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, workers at Trinity Structural Towers Inc. in Newton will vote today to ratify a contract. The agreement focuses on three issues: a structured workweek, overtime pay for weekend work and wage increases, and a procedure for job transfers and promotions, according to a news release from Local 347. The Texas-based company builds towers and pedestal mounts for wind turbines.
