The West Des Moines home of John Vratsinas is on the market for $1.3 million. The Internal Revenue Service has filed tax liens for $3.8 million that it says is due from Vratsinas and a human resources company he owns. Vratsinas’ 4,250-square-foot home sits on a two-acre lot, and it has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. It features a non-conforming bedroom that could be a “den or man cave,” according to Trulia.com. The residence is listed by Re/Max Real Estate Concepts. Vratsinas also has a home in Clear Lake. His former construction company, John Vratsinas Commercial Builders Inc., developed a West Des Moines office park. The company’s former headquarters in the office park at 5930 Grand Ave. sold in January for nearly $4.4 million to Wright Service Corp. The deed was signed by Vratsinas’ father, Gus, who founded a Little Rock, Ark., construction company that was the general contractor for Jordan Creek Town Center.
