Twin Peaks, a restaurant-sports bar franchise known for its mountain lodge motif and its “Twin Peaks Girls” waitresses wearing “lumber-Jill” costumes, announced it will open its first Iowa location next month in West Des Moines. The franchise was named a “2010 Hot Concept” by Nation’s Restaurant News and was listed among 2011’s “Future 50” concepts by Restaurant Business magazine. Greg Cutchall, owner of the Omaha franchise, owns the West Des Moines restaurant that will open at 4750 University Ave. The restaurant is now seeking Twin Peaks Girls applicants “dressed to impress and with bubbly personalities” Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
