Two remaining Dahl’s locations to become Cash Saver
Two Dahl’s Food stores will become Cash Saver Food Outlets, a chain new to Iowa that offers discount groceries, The Des Moines Register reports. Stores at 4121 Fleur Drive and 1320 E. Euclid Ave. will be rebranded at the end of the month, according to Craig Moore, chief executive of the newly formed DGS Foods. Cash Saver’s business model uses “cost plus” pricing in which customers pay an additional 10 percent at checkout.
