Uber gets the green light from Des Moines City Council
Uber received a long-anticipated green light to legally operate on Des Moines streets Monday, The Des Moines Register reported. The City Council approved the new regulations after the final reading of a simplified vehicle-for-hire ordinance that will apply to all taxi, limousine and app-based ride-sharing services in the city.
