92 wordsAll Latest News, Manufacturing, Statewide NewsUnited Technologies announced late Monday that it has completed its acquisition of Rockwell Collins, and that it intends to separate into three companies: United Technologies, Otis and Carrier, CNBC reported. United Technologies has combined Rockwell Collins with UTC Aerospace Systems to form Collins Aerospace Systems, which will be part of the United Technologies company after the split. The other two companies will be elevator manufacturer Otis and Carrier, which provides a number of products including those related to HVAC and refrigeration. United Technologies says it expects to finish the separation in 2020.
