Updates to be given for year-round indoor training center
Representatives from the Iowa Soccer Association and the Iowa Barnstormers will join Des Moines Mayor Frank Cownie, Polk County Supervisor John Mauro and state Sen. Matt McCoy to talk about the development of the proposed year-round State Indoor Training Center (SITC) on Dec. 8 at 10 a.m.
The event will take place at Southridge Mall near the food court and will give updates on the the center’s progress and funding.
