Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines announced James Livingston was recently elected as chair of its board of directors. Livingston is currently serving his third full term on the board. He is an executive vice president at Zions Bancorporation, National Association, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Before joining Zions, he was director of financial research at Ziff Brothers Investments in New York City and an assistant professor of accounting at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Livingston was previously elected to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle’s board in 2007 and served on the board until the merger with FHLB Des Moines in 2015.
