Des Moines Register: Von Maur is planning on opening in the vacant anchor space left behind by Younkers at Jordan Creek Town Center, instead of following its initial plans of constructing a new two-story building on the north side of the mall, said Jessica Stoltz, spokesperson for Von Maur. In 2018, officials with the upscale, Davenport-based department store first announced plans to build a store at Jordan Creek Town Center by 2022. Details have not been released regarding the future of the department store’s current location at Valley West Mall in West Des Moines.
