The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce will open voting for the fourth annual Best of the West Awards, presented by Aureon, on Oct. 1. The Best of the West Awards is a West Des Moines-focused, community vote contest featuring 50 categories. Voting will be open through Oct. 31, allowing participants to vote for their favorite people, places and things once per day. Entries must either be affiliated as members of the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce or be located in West Des Moines. The winners will be announced Nov. 1, and a celebration to recognize them will take place Nov. 28 at The Monroe in West Des Moines. Those interested in voting in the Best of the West Awards can do so here starting Oct. 1. Tickets for the Best of the West Awards celebration on Nov. 28 will also be available for purchase starting Oct. 1.
