Wahlburgers at Hy-Vee restaurant at the grocery chain’s downtown Des Moines location is scheduled to open on Thursday. The restaurant, formerly a Hy-Vee Market Grille, was converted to become a casual, counter-service Wahlburgers at Hy-Vee restaurant, open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant is located within the Fourth + Court Hy-Vee at 420 Court Ave. The restaurant will include most of the same menu options as the full-service Wahlburgers locations, featuring its burgers, home-style sides, house-made condiments, salads, sandwiches, shakes and a full-service bar including beer, wine and cocktails. Hy-Vee currently owns and operates six full-service Wahlburgers locations, and by the end of the summer expects to open 20 Wahlburgers at Hy-Vee locations.
