Wallace resigns at W.D.M. chamber
West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Ed Wallace has resigned about three months after taking the job, The Des Moines Register reported. Wallace resigned last week, Danny Beyer, incoming chairman of the board of directors, told the Register. He declined to give a reason for the departure. Wallace will leave the post Friday. He took the job Aug. 22 after serving as deputy director of Iowa Workforce Development during a particularly tumultuous time for the agency. Beyer said the board of directors is expected to meet this week to accept the president and CEO’s resignation. Wallace didn’t immediately return a call from the Business Record.
