Warren County small business grant winners announced
An ice cream shop and a glass installation business won small-business grants from Warren County Economic Development Corp. The Outside Scoop received a $6,000 grant that is awarded to existing businesses. Owner Joe Doering plans to use the money to improve the curb appeal of his popular Indianola ice cream shop. Promark Glass received a $3,000 grant for startups. Owner Robert Bailey plans to use the money to set up shop in Indianola, with extra money going to vehicle signage and marketing. The business provides glass services for vehicles, residences and businesses.
