Waukee roundabout project receives $1.28 million state grant
The Iowa Transportation Commission on Tuesday approved $4 million in total funding for eight projects from Iowa’s Clean Air Attainment Program. The largest award by dollar value was nearly $1.28 million for construction of a roundabout at Warrior Lane, Ashworth Drive and Northview Drive in Waukee. The ICAP program was created in 1994 for the purpose of reducing transportation-related congestion and air pollution.
