West Des Moines firm receives IDED grant
Nearly $500,000 in financial incentives to Iowa businesses will help create 100 new jobs in Davenport, West Des Moines, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids and Council Bluffs, the Iowa Department of Economic Development (IDED) announced Thursday. The IDED’s board of directors approved five awards, including a $10,000 grant to West Des Moines-based Energy Control Technologies, which provides control solutions to the biofuels, industrial, manufacturing and oil and gas markets. The award will help the company to obtain technical assistance consulting services, the IDED said.
