West Des Moines school superintendent selected
The West Des Moines Community School District’s Board of Education, which worked with Cedar Rapids-based consulting firm Ray & Associates to conduct a national search, has selected Peter Ansingh as the next superintendent of the district. Ansingh currently serves as superintendent of the West Valley School District in Yakima, Wash. The board will meet at 7 a.m. on April 18 to approve Ansingh’s contract. He is expected to start his new role on July 1.
