Western Iowa officials warn of a third round of Missouri River flooding
Des Moines Register: A third round of flooding is anticipated in western Iowa, according to the Pottawattamie County Emergency Management Agency. A nearly 4½-foot rise of the Missouri River is forecast over the next week, putting residents in Pottawattamie County at risk for flooding. Officials say there is real potential that Interstates 680 and 29 will again be affected.
