Why you should read it: Tom D’Eri started Rising Tide Car Wash as a way to provide meaningful jobs for people with autism, like his brother Andrew. His book about that, released in January 2023, explains what those employees taught Tom about running a business – which became absurdly profitable. He discovered that the car wash’s excellence is not in spite of the nontraditional workforce, but because of it.
