Patrick Dix, a 16-year veteran of the WHO Channel 13 news desk, is leaving the job to become the senior public relations manager of SHAZAM Network, a position based in Des Moines. His last day with WHO is May 15. Prior to joining Shazam, Dix spent a majority of his career as an anchor of WHO’s morning newscast. Following Dix’s departure, Andy Fales, current co-anchor of WHO’s 4 p.m. newscast, will move to the morning newscast. Dan Winters, an anchor on the networks’s 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts, will replace Fales.
