81 wordsAll Latest News, Lift IOWA, Real Estate and DevelopmentThe Iowa chapter of the American Institute of Architects and the Iowa Architectural Foundation will have an open house from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Feb. 11 to unveil the Iowa Center for Architecture, which is located at offices the organizations share at Capital Square in downtown Des Moines. The center is intended to encourage communication between the public and the design and construction communities across the state. In January and February, the focus is on the contributions of women in architecture.
