Women business leaders to tell “surviving” stories

Emily Starr, Connie Wimer and Rowena Crosbie will tell their “surviving to thriving” stories in separate keynote presentations on March 3 at the Women Mean Business Summit of the National Association of Women Business Owners Central Iowa (NAWBO-CI) chapter.

Starr is the CEO of Clinton-based StarrMatica Learning Systems LLC, Wimer is the owner of Des Moines-based Business Publications Corp. Inc., the publisher of the Business Record, and Crosbie is the president of Tero International Inc.

The event takes place at the Holiday Inn & Suites at Jordan Creek. Registration is $99 for NAWBO-CI members and $129 for nonmembers, and can be done at www.womenmeanbusiness.biz.
