Thomas DeWaay, an investment specialist with Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services in Des Moines, represented the seller, Campney & Associates LLC. The buyer, Woodland Place Apartments LLC, also was represented by DeWaay. Constructed in 1984, the property was 89 percent occupied at the time of purchase and traded at an 8.25 percent cap rate. The transaction closed in October. The building and land have a combined assessed value of $2,146,500, according to the Polk County assessor’s website.
