World Food Prize ceremony tonight
The World Food Prize’s Laureate Award Ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. tonight at the Iowa State Capitol. The event is invitation-only but will be broadcast on Iowa Public Television and available by webcast online. A number of events today will lead up to the ceremony, including keynote addresses, a roundtable of former and current African presidents and prime ministers and a press conference by 2011 laureate John Agyekum Kufour at 11 a.m. For a full list of events, many of which are available on webcast, go to www.worldfoodprize.org.
