WRH, a Cedar Rapids-based civil infrastructure company, has announced a rebranding to Wendler Inc. as well as the purchase of the Geonetric Building in Cedar Rapids for $6.8 million. The new building will serve as its new headquarters later this year. The new name comes from the company’s founder Glenn Wendler, who started the business in 1973. Wendler works in communities across Iowa and the Midwest, including Omaha, Des Moines and Waukee. It has been responsible for building significant water/wastewater projects for the cities of Altoona and Elkhart and the Des Moines Wastewater Reclamation Authority, a news release said.
