The Young Women’s Resource Center, a charity sponsor for the 2012 SmartTalk series, announces five upcoming celebrity speaking events at the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines. The schedule includes: primate expert, Dr. Jane Goodall on Jan. 19; Arianna Huffington, CEO of The Huffington Post, on Feb. 21; Frances Mayes, author of Under the Tuscan Sun, March 28; Melissa Stockwell, Iraqi war veteran and paralympian, April 17; and singer Marie Osmond on May 14.
