Youth Leadership Initiative selects 41 students for 2015 class
The Youth Leadership Initiative has selected 41 Central Iowa high school students to be a part of its Class of 2015-16. The sophomores and juniors will meet twice monthly from this month to May of 2016 to explore topics on leadership while learning about the Greater Des Moines region. The initiative began as a project of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute’s Community Leadership class of 2001-02. More than 380 students have successfully graduated from the program since then.
