Jason Wells, an e-mail marketing manager with Meredith Corp., has been tapped as the Business Record’s newest blogger.

Wells, who last week published his first www.IowaBiz.com post, will contribute to the website’s Young Professionals category.

Next year, he will serve as president of the Young Professionals Connection, a 500-member extension of the Greater Des Moines Partnership that is geared toward promoting an environment that attracts and retains young professionals in Greater Des Moines by engaging them in social, civic, charitable and professional development endeavors.

Wells moved to Des Moines from Chicago to attend Drake University.
