Nurses selected for the honor represent many sectors of health care, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and school and office nurses. They were selected from a pool of more than 500 nominees based on their concern for humanity, their contribution to the community and to the nursing profession, their leadership, and mentoring. On May 5, the 15th annual celebration of the 100 Great Iowa Nurses will be held at the Iowa Events Center. For more information on the event, click here.
