You still have time to catch a second event, the opening of the new Interstate 80 interchange at 100th Street in Urbandale. That ceremony starts at 1 p.m. today at 100th Street and Northpark Drive and will include a ceremonial crossing of the bridge and speeches by Mayor Bob Andeweg, Polk County Supervisor Robert Brownell and district engineer Scott Dockstader of the Iowa Department of Transportation.
