The event was first postponed March 18 as the pandemic forced dozens of events and businesses to close temporarily in Iowa. The Grand Blue Mile and Drake Road Races will be contested as virtual events in September and October, said Blake Boldon, director of the Drake Relays. Virtual registrations are available at drakeroadraces.org and grandbluemile.com. More information is available online.
