Nominations are now open for the 2019 LEAP Awards, hosted by the Des Moines Downtown Chamber’s Leadership Advancement Education Pipeline program. Individuals may be nominated in three categories: 
-Community Achievement Award: Recognizes the accomplishments of a female professional who maintains an unwavering passion and commitment to advancing women. Examples of her work are seen throughout the community.
-Pipeline Award: Recognizes an emerging female professional who demonstrates a clear momentum to initiate change.
-Champion of Equality Award: A gender-neutral category that recognizes an individual or organization that upholds the LEAP mission by empowering and supporting the advancement of women.

The deadline to submit nominations is Aug. 12. Winners will be recognized at the annual LEAP Summit on Oct. 3.
