4-H Foundation honors DuPont Pioneer

106 wordsAll Latest News, Arts and Culture, EnergyThe Iowa 4-H Foundation plans to honor some of its supporters at a Feb. 23 event at the State Historical Building. DuPont Pioneer will be recognized in the corporate partner division for its contributions to various programs and longtime support of Pioneer Seed Grants. Other awards will go to Florine and Ron Swanson of Galt, Rachel Wall of Iowa City and Eric Keller of Gladbrook. Florine Swanson was the foundation’s executive director from 1987 to 2005. Wall, a 4-H alum, is a dietitian for Johnson County ISU Extension & Outreach. Keller, a “contributing youth,” is a Tama County 4-H member and national 4-H shooting sports ambassador.
