Fenton, former AIB College of Business president, dies
Keith Fenton, past president of AIB College of Business in Des Moines, died Tuesday at his home in Scottsdale, Ariz. He was 87. Fenton, who took over leadership of the college from his father, E.O. Fenton, in 1957, served as president of AIB until 1998 when he was succeeded by his daughter, Nancy Fenton Williams. “Our Dad was a true gentleman and a leader in the Des Moines business community,” Williams said in a social media post. “He touched the lives of so many students, faculty and staff.” Services and a celebration of life will be held later this spring in Des Moines. AIB closed in June 2016 after 95 years of existence.
