Bravo Awards Gala to recognize outstanding contributions in arts, culture, heritage

Bravo Greater Des Moines will recognize Don and Margo Blumenthal, the After School Arts Program and City Voices during the 15th annual Bravo Awards Gala, to be held Feb. 1 at Hy-Vee Hall. Gala cohorts Dan Keough, chairman and CEO of Holmes Murphy, and Mike McCoy, CEO of NCMIC Group, are expected to welcome more than 1,500 guests. The Blumenthals will receive the Bravo Award for their work supporting the Blank Park Zoo over 30 years and other contributions to the Civic Center, the Des Moines Symphony, the Art Center and the Salisbury House. The After School Arts Program (ASAP) and City Voices will both receive Spotlight Awards. Tickets to the Bravo Awards Gala are sold out for 2020 but the organization is taking requests for 2021 tickets by email at gala@bravogreaterdesmoines.org
