83 wordsAll Latest News, Arts and Culture, Economic Development, Education, Government Policy and LawThe Mid-Iowa Council of the Boy Scouts of America will host its inaugural “Workforce Development in Iowa — Bridging the Career Awareness Gap,” a career and education summit designed to bring in the state’s advanced manufacturing sector and government leaders from the Governor’s STEM Advisory Council, Future Ready Iowa and Scouting’s iTech Exploring program. The summit will be held March 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Science Center of Iowa. Admission is free; registration and more information is available online.
