World’s biggest swimming names flock to Des Moines for TYR Pro Swim Series
Des Moines Register: The TYR Pro Swim Series returns to Des Moines today. More than 300 swimmers from around the globe, including world champions, world record holders, Olympic medalists and up and coming stars, are expected to compete in the 28 events today through Saturday. Des Moines’ debut event last year was a resounding success for the city and the MidAmerican Energy Company Aquatic Center at the Wellmark YMCA. Things went so well that an elite group of swimmers are now flocking to Des Moines to take part in it this time around.
