Skywalk Golf Classic draws national brands for 30th anniversary

Participants in First Tee of Greater Des Moines’ 30th-anniversary Skywalk Golf Classic will be able to sample the wares of two national brands during the fundraising event Feb. 28. Cobra Puma Golf, maker of golf equipment and apparel and a sponsor of the Professional Golf Association’s Honda Classic, along with Bettinardi Golf, maker of milled golf putters, will have displays. This is the first time that national brands have participated in the Skywalk Golf Classic. The event also has changed its venue to Capital Square at Fourth and Locust streets. A Kid Zone with an inflatable obstacle course, face painting, balloon artist and carnival games also has been added. The $30 registration includes a free pass for a child age 12 or younger.
