EPA announces brownfields grants
Dubuque will receive funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Brownfields Grant Program to support community redevelopment efforts aimed at the revitalization of properties that may be contaminated by hazardous substances or pollutants, according to a release. Dubuque will receive $200,000 out of $4 million that the EPA will award to 20 communities in 16 states.
