The Keep Iowa Beautiful board of trustees has announced the 2015 annual award winners for enhancing the beauty, cleanliness and attractiveness of the state of Iowa.  The winner of the Corporate Award of Excellence is The Iowan magazine, for enhancing the quality of life for Iowans through the written words and images of Iowa along with in-kind support to the nonprofit organization. The Organization Award of Excellence winner is John Baldwin, director of the Iowa Department of Corrections, for providing support of highway and public area clean-ups enhancing the quality of life in Iowa. The city of Fort Dodge is the Community Award of Excellence winner for community enhancement efforts, support of volunteer opportunities and beautification programs making Fort Dodge a more attractive place to live and work. The winners will be presented their awards by Gov. Terry Branstad at the Capitol on March 26 at 2 p.m.
