Environmentalist, author McKibben to speak at Grinnell commencement

The event, which begins at 10 a.m. at the central campus amphitheater, will be live-streamed on Grinnell’s website. McKibben, who also has written about alternative energy and genetic engineering, authored “The End of Nature,” a book examining climate change and written for a general audience. A graduate of Harvard University, he was a staff writer at The New Yorker and is now a scholar in residence at Middlebury College in Vermont.Read more
