Former Branstad chief of staff Hinch joins lobbying group

Terry Branstad and before that the head of government relations and public policy for the Greater Des Moines Partnership, has joined the Des Moines office of government affairs and lobbying group Cornerstone Government Affairs as a vice president, according to a release. Hinch stepped down as Branstad’s chief of staff earlier this summer. Cornerstone has offices in Washington, D.C.; Atlanta; Austin, Texas; Baton Rouge, La.; Chicago; Houston; Jackson, Miss.; and Richmond, Va. The Des Moines office is led by David Adelman and Frank Chiodo.
