Elevate women’s group to feature former police chief Judy Bradshaw

Iowa Law Enforcement Academy Director Judy Bradshaw will speak at the next Elevate Women’s Group breakfast meeting Oct. 1. Bradshaw, the former chief of the Des Moines Police Department, will discuss how she found success in a male-dominated career and also provide insight into recent events involving law enforcement. The event, hosted by the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce, will be at Embassy Club West at 7:45 a.m. Cost is $10 per person.
