Innovas Technologies won the first-place prize of $25,000 in this year’s John Pappajohn Iowa Entrepreneurial Venture Competition. Innovas Technologies designs, manufactures and distributes shell and tube cleaning technology for heat exchangers. Fanstreamm claimed $15,000 for second place for its work to help sports teams and venues leverage data to expand business. Immortagen,which provides algorithms that help determine the risk of recurrence in medical cases, finished third and received $10,000. Read more
