State gaming revenues up slightly in fiscal 2015

The biggest share of the gaming revenues comes from taxes on table games and slot machines. Revenues from the state wagering taxes were $288 million, a 1.9 percent increase from fiscal 2014, according to the report. The state also received $5 million in installment payments on licenses for new casinos. The fee can be paid over five years. The increase in wagering taxes corresponds to a 3.5 percent increase in admissions to 729,000 and a 1.9 percent increase $27 million in total adjusted gross revenues, according to the report.
