Just what that future might look like is uncertain at the moment. It could be spring or summer before a vision is in place, a Kum & Go spokeswoman said. The Krause Gateway Center will occupy a city block between 14th and 15th streets and Grand and Ingersoll avenues. The design team for the $151 million project is led by international architect firm Renzo Piano Workshop. Kum & Go has acquired several properties to the north and west of Gateway Center site, including the Gas Lamp tavern at 15th and Grand. Proprietor Frankie Farrell recently said he expects the tavern to be open through 2018 and possibly longer.
