Ames wants to create a new brand

Creating a brand for Ames is essential if the city wishes to attract young adults to live there, representatives of ZLR Ignition, a branding firm from Des Moines, told members of the Ames City Council Tuesday, the Ames Tribune reported. In February, the council decided to focus on a specific branding campaign for the city that targeted young adults and new families and a geographic market was identified by the council as the Ames-to-Des Moines Interstate 35 corridor.
