Deerfield adds 20 assisted-living units
After a multimillion-dollar renovation, Deerfield Retirement Community in Urbandale has opened 20 assisted-living apartments. The services and amenities include private, spacious apartment homes, 24 hour-a-day access to licensed nurses, medication management, chef-prepared dining, social and enrichment activities, and assistance with daily living needs. Deerfield is owned and operated by Lifespace Communities, a Des Moines-based nonprofit with more than 40 years of senior living expertise.
